Do people still ride Freight (sp) trains in America?

We used to get loads of them coming up from Mexico. But in the past few years the border patrol has cracked down on them so we don’t see near as many now. They stop our trains and search them now.The illegals are still coming but they find different ways to spread throughout America now besides riding the rails. The hobo’s have all but disappeared into folklore. We have some gangs that ride trains now but they are dangerous people that we try to avoid at all costs.

Yes, occasionally some people do ride on freight trains. It is mainly illegal aliens coming out of Mexico that make up the majority of people doing this. By the way, since no one has mentioned it, I will. Riding on freight trains is illegal, and if caught the rider is subject to arrest.
