Do Postgrads get the chance to work with medieval manuscripts?

A. At Masters level, students handle medieval manuscripts and early printed books in the Special Collections department of the Queen’s Library and will visit Armagh Library, whose holdings reach back to the early Middle Ages, and Trinity College Dublin Library as part of the ‘Research Methods’ module. At doctoral level, individual students locate any manuscript that is of interest and approach the relevant institution in which it is housed. Help is forthcoming from School staff in order to gain access to such materials.
