Do some religious traditions deny the existence of animal souls to justify the use of animals as food?

No, we justify the use of animals as food because we are carnivorous to an extent, if you’ll kindly reach into your mouth and touch your canine teeth you will see they extend enough to be able to tear flesh. However, we are not carnivorous completely, we only eat small animals and only on occasion. We say that animals do not have souls in that they are not like man who can go against his own nature. Personally I think that animals will play a role in the hereafter, but can’t back it up Biblically.
