Do sports scholarships usually include room and board?
Depending on the sport scholarships may be a “full ride”, meaning everything, tuition, books, room and board and fees are taken care of by the school. In minor sports such as track where the NCAA limits the school to 16 total scholarships, the coach must split scholarships to field a team. In those cases you will get an amount of money that will take care of part of your total expenses. If you are attending a school close to your home you would want your tuition and book and fees handled and you could live at home.
