Do Synchro files need any pre-processing before they can be used with TIAH?

In some cases – yes. (1) If the Synchro volume report file has missing (null) volume values for some movements, TIAH has no way of knowing which values are missing. This is due to the way that the volume data file is structured. Data files with missing volume values should be pre-processed to show zero (“0”, without parentheses or quotation marks) as a placeholder for where no volume number has been entered in Synchro. NOTE: THIS IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE STARTING WITH TIAH 3.1.1 (CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOADING) (2) If the %date% report variable (accessible via the “Header…” button in Synchro’s “File > Create Report > Select Reports” interface) is placed to appear as the first header/footer variable (image A below), TIAH may give you an error message. To ensure this doesn’t happen, click on the “Header…” button and insert the %date% variable in the 2nd column (image B below). NOTE: THIS IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE STARTING WITH TIAH 3.1.
