Do the award totals include indirect costs? Is there a maximum percentage allowed for indirect costs?
Indirect costs are included in the total award amount. The maximum indirect rate allowed by RWJF is 12%. However, if the purchased services category represents more than 33% of the total of personnel and other direct costs, an indirect rate of 4% will be required on the purchased services category.
