Since Freeview launched the number of channels have increased from 30 to over 40 channels. The service will continue to develop. When changes occur, you need to retune/rescan your digital box or TV so it sees the new channel. We recommend doing this every few weeks to receive the most up to date service. Rescanning your digital box is easy. Some digital boxes and TVs rescan automatically; others need to be manually rescanned. To manually rescan you need to press “Menu” on your remote control and follow the on-screen instructions or those printed in your manual. A typical sequence is: a) Press MENU on your remote control b) From the Menu options, select the ‘Tuning Menu’ c) Select ‘Auto Setup’ or ‘Update’ to rescan your digital TV* *also referred to as ‘Update’, ‘Retune’, ‘Replace’ or ‘Store Channels’.
