Do the Disney Characters still walk around Disneyland – Anaheim during the day?
Yes they do, but you have to know where to look. Mickey and Minnie Mouse are generally along Main Street U.S.A. in the very front of the park early in the morning before heading to Toon Town, except for during parade times. Also along Main Street U.S.A. in the very front of the park Max (from A Goofy Movie; Goofy’s son), Goofy, Wendy (from Peter Pan), and Peter Pan frequent the area. If you get to the park just before park opening, they will let you into the “pre-park area” where the floral Mickey Ears are in the grass on the side of the little “hill”. You can often get autographs from the Queen of Hearts, Alice, and the Mad Hatter from Alice In Wonderland there. Also, the Alice In Wonderland gang hangs out in Fantasyland a lot, you will often find them near the Alice In Wonderland ride, near the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party ride, and sometimes they even are riding King Arthur’s Carousel.
