Do the exam boards check papers for plagiarism?

Hi, They don’t tend to check the papers as it’s pretty hard to copy stuff off the internet out of a book for your exam, and not many people can remember the exact wording of a page on the internet for a history essay, for example. And as the answerer above me said, you get credit for writing the right answer so if it’s the exact wording of someone else, it doesn’t matter so much. But, if you’ve submitted a piece of coursework then it will be checked for plagiarism as obviously you can’t go submitting a creative piece of writing for english coursework and say it’s your own if it isn’t! ~Mystic.
