I enjoy LA when I go there to play, but I don’t miss it. Too many distractions and too many girls with silicone breasts. B: “Slaughter on Van Buren Avenue” sounds like a soundtrack from a James Ellroy novel screenplay. Have you thought about doing any music for films? Wow, thanks! That’s a wonderful compliment. I doubt I could write songs or music outside my area of expertise, nor would I really want to try, but I’d love to get more involved with that aspect of music. Just so long as it’s not changing me or my sound. > B: It looks that you’ve set a pattern of an album and a major tour once a year in recent times. Is the market in the US just too fragmented to justify doing more? A lot of people would be surprised to hear this, but I do love touring. I’ve got a great band in the US but they’ve got real jobs and lives and it’s almost impossible for them to take off for more than a week or two. To properly tour the US you should do a minimum of five weeks. Same for Europe. So logistics ke
