Do the middle school grades operate differently than the elementary grades?
Trinity students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade switch classes each period just as they would in high school. Each period is 42 minutes in length with a 3-minute passing period to move to their next class. Students in grades 6-8 take a variety of elective classes each semester in enrichment and fine arts subjects. Does Trinity teach a foreign language? Yes. Trinity provides Spanish instruction to all students in grades 1-5. Spanish 1 instruction is available in elective classes in grades 6, 7, and 8. Upon completing the Spanish 1 course, students are eligible for Spanish 2 when entering high school. Does the school have sports and after-school programs? Yes. Students at Trinity can participate in a variety of after school programs which are determined each fall. There is homework help for students in 1st – 8th grade.
