Do The QUIKRETE® Companies have a product for recoating a concrete apron around a pool deck?
BRIAN: Depending on the condition of the concrete apron, there are two applicable QUIKRETE® products: QUIKRETE® Concrete Resurfacer is the first choice for concrete that is basically solid but is aging and worn. For a surface that has significant holes and is delaminating, the QUIKRETE® Sand Mix with QUIKRETE® Acrylic Fortifier is the next best alternative. Application Recommendations: QUIKRETE® Concrete Resurfacer is easy to apply with a squeegee and can be mixed with a propeller mixer in a 5 gallon bucket. It is applicable for worn but solid concrete. A few holes can be filled with the resurfacer mixed to a trowelable consistency in 1/4-inch lifts. For heavy duty repairs, the QUIKRETE® Sand Mix with QUIKRETE® Acrylic Fortifier will allow repairs and a 1/2-inch to 1-inch topping with one mix. The sand mix requires a trowel finish, taking a bit more skill. The sand mix is mixed in a trough with a mortar hoe, or in a rented mortar mixer. In both cases, the key to success is surface prep
