Do the various Support Package types have to be imported in any particular order?
In theory, since Support Package types such as SAP_ABA, SAP_BASIS, SAP_APPL etc. are not dependent on each other, they can be imported independently of each other. However, any interdependencies that do exist are registered via the attributes of the packages in the SPAM (Support Package Manager)and either an error message is issued or the import queue is simply adjusted accordingly, depending whether the Support Packages are available under NEW SUPPORT PACKAGES.
