First, no, Nintendo stopped making the Phat DS, and in my opinion, it was a better decision, I stayed away from the DS and got a PSP instead just because of the Phat DS’ bulky and cheap look, then I got the DS Lite later on just because it looked and felt better, has a brighter screen, and is just overall better than the Phat Next, the comment that Sideslick said is not entirely true, the Phat DS is entirely different than the Lite, first, the case is different, the screen is brighter, the hardware is different (to account for the smaller and lighter form factor), and the firmware (software on a chip) is indeed different, it looks similar, but there are different versions of the firmware, this can be proven with the pictochat glitch (booting the DS with a DS game in it, launching pictochat, then removing the game, the DS will lock up and either freeze, or have the screens turn to a solid color, depending on what it does, you can tell different firmwares apart that way), also, if you ha
