Do those propane powered mosquito traps really work?

Part of our backyard is “wetlands” so we have sooooo many mosquitoes every year. We purchased a Mosquito Magnet a couple of years ago. It definitely does attract mosquitoes, we always had a lot of them in the trap. However, it didn’t stop us from being attacked by mozzies at all. We still end up covered with bites if we stay outside too late of an evening. So, for us, it was probably a waste of money. It works, but because of where we live, it may simply not be able to deal with the sheer volume of mosquitoes. I think it may well depend on where you live. Sources: Personal experience.
