Do Tibetan Terriers shed?
Tibetan Terriers do not shed like many dogs. They shed more like the rate of human hair growth so its very minimal. The only time they shed more is when they go from a puppy to shed their entire coat in advanced of when they get their adult coat of hair. This happens at ~9 months of age. Their coat of hair is a double coat having a warm undercoat but their top coat is more like human hair. If you are looking at getting a Tibetan Terrier then do realize they do require regular grooming to keep tangles from forming in their hair.
Technically, yes, but it is minimal. They lose their hair it is not fur like people lose hair, not by shedding all over the house. Sometime during the first year, Tibetan Terriers grow their undercoat. During this process, they might shed some; however, people who keep their dog s hair fairly short might not even notice.
