DO TWO SNOWFLAKES MAKE A BLIZZARD?

Im writing this on American Flight 2445 from Dallas/Ft. Worth to LAX. I have been in Dallas for the past several days to promote Rusting in the Rain but more importantly to appear last night at The American Airlines Museums IMAX theatre as part of their First Class Conversations series. This is an ongoing program not open to the public but held for Americans personnel only. I have had a long standing relationship with AA having written and performed their first commercial way back in the late 50s when they introduced jetliners as passenger carriers. Alas something strange happened on the way to the theatre. It snowed on St. Valentines Day in Dallas, a very light snow I thought, because from my hotel window it looked like powdered sugar had been spread upon the ground and trees. Still it is winter in Texas as it is everywhere else in North America and the snow froze to ice. The event was cancelled, well postponed anyway. Chuck Yeager is the next speaker in the series and it will happen
