Do weather conditions affect a survey?
Land Surveyors do try to work outside in most weather conditions, but we are limited by the equipment. Most current survey equipment is electronic and can be sensitive to moisture, which can be a very costly problem. We are also limited by site distance. In a lot of cases we need to clearly see a half mile or more, so fog, snow, and sometimes rain can cause major problems.
