Do witches sacrifice animals, virgins or children?
While animal sacrifice used to be quite commonplace in ancient rites, it is quite rare, in modern times, to find a practitioner who sacrifices any living thing in order to enhance their magic. Many modern witches, including followers of the Wiccan path, are horrified by the idea of sacrifice, as their Rede includes a directive to harm none. To our knowledge none of the modern practitioners we have come across have ever harmed any children in the making of their magic.
