Do yellow lenses improve vision in ski goggles? Why?

The different tint on lenses is for different light conditions. Yellow lenses allow your eyes to see details in the snow’s terrain that would be hard to see on overcast days and night riding. Bad for sunny days, though. Ideally you would want goggles with interchangeable lenses. That way you have heavy tint for Sunny days. Yellow for overcast and nights, etc.
