Do you have to plug a NuStep Recumbent Cross Trainer into an electrical outlet?

The display console on our T4 model is powered by 4 AA batteries and does not require plug-in to an electrical outlet. Under normal usage, our T5 and T5XR models do not require plug-in, but if stepping rates are typically below 50-60 steps per minute, the machine may need to be plugged in periodically to recharge the battery. The T5 and T5XR display console will provide notification if the battery ever requires recharging. All T5 and T5XR units are shipped with an AC adaptor for your convenience.
