Do you know if hospitals or surgeries in the UK get medical reports transcribed overseas?
I don’t know where samkins is doing his training, but in my former hospital, one of the largest district general hospitals in the country, the consultants in all specialties had secretaries in the hospital, who transcribed their dictated letters. I never heard of NHS consultants relying on overseas transcriptions.
