Yes, it is essential that you have a sharp carbide tip saw blade when cutting the product. If the blade is dull, it will melt the product and will not create a sharp cut. You must screw down all decking material (due to expansion and contraction nails will not be sufficient). We recommend at least a #9 galvanized screw. Pre-drilling is required.
