I think true humility is very important for everyone to have but I would like to clarify what I mean by true humility. False humility is wrong thinking about yourself, Arrogance and Insecurity are both distortions of the truth, thinking you are too unimportant or underestimating the impact you have on the lives of others is no better than overestimating your self worth. Hearing and taking to heart all criticism from all sources can result in some serious insecurity issues, and this is as bad as not listening to any form of criticism from any source wihch results in arrogance and inflated ego. True humility is having a realistic knowledge of your own strengths and limitations, knowing what you know and what you don’t know and being able to be confident where you have a right to be confident and being open to criticism from sources that have a right to criticise you.
