Do you think the issues raised by Anil Ambani in Reliance Industries in this regard are valid?
He is hurt and I think the questions he has raised on good corporate governance practices are certainly relevant. The spat in the Reliance group I feel is the worst to happen for corporate India. When the brothers work together, they can complement each other in their talent and ability. They would have been a role model for businessmen not only in India but for the whole world. It is so unfortunate that other business groups are smiling among themselves to see the dispute unfold in full view of the public. As someone who has worked close with the founder Dhirubhai Ambani, Mukesh and Anil, I would say that if given a chance, I would like to work with the mother and help settle the issues amicably. Do you think a probe in the affairs of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) is required, especially in the light of mystery on the promoters shareholding in RIL?
