Do you think the media (TV, radio, print, and web) should be held accountable for biased reporting?
The media is accountable to the public and nobody else. And, so far at least, there is enough diversity to insure that any outlet that screws up will be held up to public scrutiny by another. Dan Rather got trashed when he botched the Dubya military service story and one can always count on KeithO to hang BillO out to dry when he goes over the top. That’s as it should be. Anyone who expects ANY media outlet to be completely unbiased is living in a dream world.
