Does a B&B serve breakfast, lunch and dinner?
Depending on the state you live in a B&B may or may not serve other meals. In Hawaii a Bed and Breakfast may ONLY serve breakfast. A complete listing of area restaurants, along with their menus is included in your room directory. Everything from pizza and sandwiches to Thai food or gourmet dining is available in Volcano, although most places do not serve past 9:00 pm. Some suggest reservations which your host is happy to do for you, while you go enjoy the park. Area restaurants are only 5 minute drive away. The town of Hilo, about 45 minutes away, also has a large selection of restaurants. If you plan to go see the lava at sunset or evening you might want to eat an early dinner, or take sandwiches with you.
