Does a gum infection cause a lot of pain?
Gum infections can be incredibly painful. The antibiotics will help providing you take them as instructed and finish the course. Rinse your mouth with a warm saltwater solution as this is brilliant for helping to get rid of the infection. It tastes vile but was recommended to me by a Dentist and really helped when I had a gum infection behind my wisdom tooth. Try taking Ibuprofen if the pain is really bad but the antibiotics should work pretty quickly. Hope you feel better soon.
