No. All medical expenses are discounted because you have insurance and then that lower amount is applied to your deductible. This applies to dr. visits, medications, surgerys, hospitalization, ect. By not having co pays HSA’s are the best priced health insurance option available on the market today. Dental and vision DO NOT count toward your medical deductible but you can use the H.S.A money to pay for the taking advantage of using tax free dollars to pay for those services.
