Does a keyboard compare to a grand piano?

No, there isn’t a single keyboard out there that will feel like a grand piano. But, you can get close. You want to make sure your keyboard has 1) all 88 keys, 2) weighted keys/action, 3) an acceptable sample for the ‘piano’ setting and 4) quality output – industry standard is two, 1/4 inch cables. Personall, I play Roland’s Performance Series keyboards. I love it. But they are not very popular. Very popular ones are Korg and Yamaha. Casio has come out with a new line of affordable, decent keyboards also. Happy playing, and enjoy your life!
