Women have what is called a “Fertility Cycle” based on their Menstrual Cycle. By monitoring this cycle they are better able to determine when the best chance of getting pregnant is. It’s been used since the dawn of mankind as a method of birth control and to aid in pregnancy. Does such a cycle exist within men? A woman menstruates once a month, in a cycle, through a series of hormonal influences that builds up the tissues for egg implantation, releases the egg, and then breaks down the tissues for disposal if they egg is not fertilized. By using this series in a 28-day cycle, she has a better idea of when she can or cannot get pregnant. Men, on the other hand, continually make sperm and they can be released at any time through the act of orgasm and ejaculation. So while women have a certain period of time each month when they are the most fertile, the question remains if men do.
