Does a nape piercing hurt?
I had my nape done 3 days ago. My friend had one before me, she said hers didn’t hurt at all, but hers rejected and she had to take it out. Mine stung a little, but nothing unbearable, I had the bar quite long so they had to pierce through more tissue than usual. So if you had it normal size I can imagine it wouldn’t hurt. As for the bleeding and after pain, mine bled quite a lot, a whole kitchen tissue was needed and more to stop the bleeding, but it varies from person to person. Afterwards it didn’t really hurt, it ached a little and was sometimes a little sore. But it was nothing major. The only thing about nape piercings is sleeping, when I sleep I sleep on my front but roll around during the night, this knocks my nape and the next morning I always find it has bled from the disturbance. For that reason I wouldn’t be surprised if my nape rejected or took a little longer to heal. But it seems to be okay, it looks great anyway and everyone loves it 🙂 Hope that helped.
