No. As science evolves and new information becomes available, products must be re-evaluated to ensure they meet the latest health and environmental risk assessment standards. All products are re-evaluated on a 15-year cycle, which ensures that older pesticides that no longer meet modern standards are removed from the Canadian market and the use instructions on product labels are updated to best protect human health and the environment. However, if at any time new information indicates that a pesticide could pose unacceptable risks, the information will be evaluated and appropriate action will be taken immediately.
