Does Above Ground Onion Leaves Contain Chloroplast?

0

They do indeed contain chloroplast because just like any leave, it must get its food from a source. An onion leave does not have a source so it makes its own food from chloroplast, but the onion itself does not contain chloroplast because it is underground and in order for chloroplast to work it requires sunlight and sunlight is not able to reach the onion underground.
