Does acupuncture for weight loss work?

I have a friend in China whos a TCM doctor who specializes in weightloss, and regularly get results. Strangley, I am yet to find an accupuncturist in the US who is clinically trained in it, so I think that there is a way to use accupuncture for weight loss, but it's a much more difficult procedure to learn than pain blocking, so it hence it not known in the states. Other than that, the specific accupuncture method also requires herbs and some behavioral diet changes, but it's essentially based off the theory that dampness causes obesity and needs to be eliminated.  more
