Does Alcohol Addiction Treatment Work?

0

It seems like every time we turn our head we hear that alcohol addiction treatment is a farce, a waste of money and that no one really stays sober. But our response to that is to consider all the people that go to alcohol addiction treatment and are not in the news and go on to lead healthy productive lives. Consider the physicians, lawyers, pilots and nurses that have managed to stay n their professions due to alcohol addiction treatment. Treatment does work, if you want it to work. If you are willing to take instructions and put the alcohol down, you can recover.

Of course it helps a lot of people who go to rehab centers. I think you should also read information on finally quitting drinking (Abbeycare). This center allowed me personally to stop taking alcohol of my own free will. I understand how unhealthy and useless it is for me. I advise you to think about it.

Alcohol addiction treatment programs do work if an alcohol addict acknowledges his/her problem and really wants to quit. My family member has been currently curing his addiction in rehab treatment centers new york ( https://addictionresource.com/drug-rehab/new-york/ ). Now he is 6 months sobber and seems fully recovered. But once alcoholic, always alcoholic. Self management and self control is also important.
