However, substantial Asian language studies, concentration in Asian affairs, or an undeclared “minor” in these areas would probably result in disqualification. The program is intended to reach those who lack in-depth exposure to Asia. Is there a minimum age? No, although candidates must have earned a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent before taking part in the program.
