A. Yes! An electrologist is trained in evaluating the patient’s needs as well as in operating the equipment. In Florida, furthermore, an electrologist must be licensed. Some practitioners also gain advanced credentials. I have obtained the credential of Certified Medical Electrologist, the most advanced certification offered by the State of Florida! That credential is required by the State of Florida in order for me to utilize laser equipment in my practice.
