Does any one have information/thoughts on wet cellulose insulation?

Wet blown cellulose is similar to dry dense pack cellulose in terms of its benefits. It forms a barrier against air circulation, provides good insulation, is animal resistant and is relatively inexpensive. There is no need to put up mesh to contain the insulation and this is a further savings. You must have a water source and it freezing temperatures can be an impediment. The biggest drawback, in my opinion is that you are pumping a lot of water into the house and that this requires time to evaporate. We no longer use the wet method because of this but if you have time to wait, it wouldn’t be such a big problem.
