Does any one in Calvert or St. Marys home school their children?

I have a 17 y/o that I had to withdraw from high school today ( don’t ask long story) and they said he was able to go through the GED program. I was just wondering if there is a home school association in either of these counties and what Maryland specifications are on homeschooling. I would rather him have home school diploma than a GED. TIA!
