Does any one know how I can kill tree stumps without buying special products…?
If these stumps are anywhere near other plants you want to keep then ignore most of the answers you have about using poisons of one sort or another. Drill holes in the tops as deep and as large as you can and just fill and cover with soil. This will encourage natures fungi, bacteria and insects to move in that like to eat and breakdown wood. It is a slow process but you can always stick a pot or ornament in front.
