Does any one know the best way to rebuild a relationship that has been damaged by sibling rivalry?

My sister and I growing up despised each other. As we’ve gotten older we have slowly begun to have a better relationship. As you separate from your childhood and you become adults you begin to have better insight on your family dynamic and your interactions with your siblings. My sister and I, though, BOTH make an effort to have a relationship now. We made a decison to be a part of each other’s lives in a way we never were before. It isn’t always easy, and sometimes old resentments flare up, but you have to work to let go of that and only have your relationship based on the people you are today.
