Does any one notice TV adverts are getting longer?

Yes. Over in England some products now sponsor programmes and appear at the beginning, both ends of each break and at the end of a programme, along with the normal adverts. Another thing to note, although the television companies have denied it, is that the adverts are a bit louder than the programmes themselves. The Simpsons start on Sky 1 and are on for just 8 minutes before there’s an advert. This is unheard of with ITV, the independant television network. Their’s are on for about 13 or 14 minutes before a break.
