Does any one really have a perfect 800 on the credit score?

Yeah, my credit scores on all 3 bureaus are at 800 or within a few points of. My credit is so good a bank here in town let me co-sign a $1,000.00 loan for my son and I don’t even have a job! The loan officer told me my score was the highest he’d ever seen. I got it that way by not making ANY late payments and not having too much debt, which by debt I mean high balances on my cards. I make higher than just the minimum payments but I don’t pay the cards off in full every month. I might charge say $20.00 on my department store credit card and take 2 or 3months to pay it off, just to show that I can make regular payments. I think the most important way to get your score high is just simply not to make any late payments. Get in the habit of paying your bills as soon as they come in. The companies really don’t leave you much time, between the time you recieve your statement, to get your payment in on time. Which I think is what they count on to make your rack up late charges.
