There are so many ways to decorate your tables for a wedding. It really depends on the style and theme you are after. Candles and flowers will always make a table look pretty but this is not really unique. Unique placecards can help theme and decorate your table as well as tell guests where to sit. Some unique ideas: iced cookies with your guests name on them can double as wedding favors and placecards. You could do these in any colour or design to match your theme. A beach themed wedding could have fishbowls in the centre of the table with one or two goldfish swimming around and shells scattered across the table There are lots of options but it really depends on your theme or style of reception.

We had to set a theme for our wedding. I have aways wanted a christmas wedding. So christmas theme is it. For our table we were lucky to have my brother and his wife successful business they do chairs and table covers including runners. First our tablecloth was white and runners were red and gold. Centre of the table we had a circle mirror place on the table and placed a long vase on top of this. On top of the vase, we had a ball of roses, with berries in between and silver sticks sticking out. Inside the vase was crushed ice and water, to gave a crystal feel to it. On the mirror plate, we had 2 deep red pillars candles and 2 white pillars candles. Then when the staff put the cutlery out and my brother wife put shiny red heart confetti around the cutlery. Then my brother placed the favours boxes on the dinner plates. The favours boxes was created by my mum and myself, it had deep red roses on top of the box with a white ribbons and we filled it with red heart gums and I love you sweets

It depends on when your wedding will be and if you have a set “Theme”. I don’t have a set theme but I am sticking to a color palet of Greens, Pinks, Oranges, and Ivory. So for my upcomming June wedding, I am using hurricane style vases that are provided by the reception site, along with some square mirrored tiles, and filling the vases with water, putting some of those colored rocks at the bottom and having a floating candle at the top, then we’ll have some colored flower petals on the tables. Simple yet effective. If you’re thinking about having bright colors I would also go with black table clothes, that will really make the colors stand out. Good luck!
