Does anybody have any experience with Maaco?

. I've had several cars painted by Maaco, but it was the cheap $250 jobs and the cars were NOT valuable antiques. I was satisfied with what I got , but I had to do the minor body work myself, scrape off rust and prine those spots and beat out a few ents. The black paint had a few runs in it and didn't have that factory shine but it was ok. It was in their shop 3 days, mostly drying. You MIGHT get their top-of-the-line Signature paint for $750. ...One 'Review'; ... I am the estimator at a privately owned body shop and have a Maaco facitlity less than half a mile from our location. People come in our shop to inquire about pricing on a paint job on their vehicles. Their jaws drop when I tell them our price on a paint job starts at $1500. They always say the same thing, " I can go to Maaco and get it done for $399." I usually do them the courtesy of giving them a tour of our facility and explaining the process and procedure for doing a "good" paint job .  more
