OK, breeding a male wildtype and female albino would leave you with lots of normal babies. However, all these babies would carry the albino gene. It’s ressesive so their body would only recognise the normal half of the gene pair that controls albinoism so they wont be albino but if you breed two of the babies together, you will get: 25% Wildtype (Two normal genes) 50% Wildtype but carriers of albino gene (One normal gene, one albino) 25% Albino (two albino genes) There is good demand for albinos, that’s why they are so expensive. First generation inbreeding is OK but do not breed the grandchildren of the original snakes together or you may end up with some nasty genetic diseases. EDIT: In response to another answer saying that only a few would be carriers, that is not true. When the DNA of the parents split to become sex cells, the albino one would gave an albino gene (call it a) for it’s half of the albino gene pair becuase it has two albino genes.
