Does anyone have a recipe for savoury muffins?
EASY SAVOURY MUFFINS You need: – 1 1/2 cups SR flour – 2 cups grated cheddar cheese – 2 eggs – 1/2 cup milk – salt and pepper to taste – 2 tablespoons sun- or semi-dried tomatoes, drained – fresh herbs as available, eg parsley, thyme, basil, chives – bacon or ham Method: Mix first five ingredients together in large bowl. Halve mixture. Add tomatoes to one half and mix in, add herbs and ham/bacon to the other half and mix in. Place large spoonfuls into greased 1/2 cup muffin tins. Bake 210 C for 10 mins. Makes 12 muffins – 6 of each type. Serving Suggestion: Serve with lots of butter, if desired.
