THe best thing for ants I found is the usage of Diazinon crystals, but if you live in California you cannot buy it here anymore thanks to the wack job enviro-nuts, but if you can get some, spread the crystals arond the perimeter of your house and do it about every two months or so and you will never see an ant again. Other products like the stakes and other granuals work a little, but you have to spread three times as mush and three times as often, so the environmental types don’t realize that spreading ten times of one chemical is probably worse than one-tenth of the other, but what can I say, I go to Nevada and find the Diazinon when I need it.

It depends on the type of Ant, but Cinnamon is a great natural remedy of stopping them, but it wont kill them, I say spray out side of your house with ant/bug killer then wipe your house down with a bleached based cleaner I added cinnamon to the water it cleared it up for me.
