Yes, I do. I was born without a sense of smell, it is called congenital anosmia. Often when people are born without a sense of smell the reason is that their olfactory bulb (the part of the brain that is suppose to make sense of the sensory input from the nose) has not developed right. It has to develop very early in the pregnancy, and if there are problems in the pregnancy things may not go quite right. Other possible reasons for congenital anosmia is if the receptors in the nose or the nerve leading from the receptors to the brain has not developed properly, but i think that is less likely than the olfactory bulb thing. Some people are born without a sense of smell, and some people loose their sense of smell often due to a head injury or a viral infection (cold, flu,…) If you hit your head the nerve that goes from the receptors in the nose to the brain can be torn and you loose your sense of smell. If you have a viral infection the smell receptors can in some cases be destroyed and
